What is pre-hab?
Concerned about your risk of injury? Pre-hab is a proactive approach to injury prevention, building strength and stability around vulnerabilities whilst improving overall mobility, balance and joint function.
What will you get out of pre-hab exercises?
Pre-hab exercises work to strengthen your most vulnerable areas that can be put under undue pressure in the course of your working, sporting or simply everyday movement. This is normally your hips, shoulders and core (your “pillar”). Strengthening and stabilising these areas can improve alignment and posture, helping your joints to move more smoothly and efficiently. By building up areas that may be particularly prone to developing injuries, you’re also securing yourself against chronic aches and pains that can develop over time, helping you to stay injury (and surgery) free.
